Disgust is an emotion which arises as a feeling of aversion towards something offensive as perceived through our physical senses or due to the actions or appearances of people or ideas.

Disgust contains a range of states, of varying intensities, from mild dislike all the way through to intense loathing.

The feeling of disgust can also alternate with anger if the disgusted person is aggravated about being made to experience the feeling.
